Post 2: Research Sources

The best source I have found is an online article called “8 Ways you’re Damaging your Hair” it is written by WebMD in CBS News. In seventh reason it explains how over shampooing it can make it dry. It is pretty much stating that the less the hair is washed the better it is and the less damaged it is. Shampooing can depend on the type of hair if someone’s hair needs to be washed everyday then it should be. If a person just washes it for their pleasure everyday it is not healthy. There is only a little paragraph about over shampooing but it tells a lot. While going through the school libraries website and browsing Google for interesting sources I realized that my question was too broad. I think that it may change to Does how your hair get damaged depend on shampoo or are their other reasons? Other such as flat ironing, hair type and the sun even could be a factor in hair damage. I have learned that by having black hair and being in the sun to long my hair gets so hot and I was wondering if that causes damage to it. There are so many challenges in researching this topic because there are such a variety of things that could be involved in damage. The title of the article I chose is 8 ways you’re damaging your hair. So that is a broad article with tons of ways that it could be damaged. In the library I could not find any books that dealt with this topic, but I was able to find tons of articles that could work. This is not going to be an easy essay but by talking to my peers and my professor it can be accomplished.
