Post 4: What I learned
This blog has inspired me to learn many things. Surprisingly it also taught me not to wait until the last minute to do an assignment because in the end it is just going to be disastrous. The research process is very intense and takes a lot more work than I thought it would. Looking for sources is the hardest part because there may not be a source specific to what I am researching. I may have to search through fifty books to actually find something that relates. The process is very difficult even for the annotated bibliography I was getting frustrated. It is a simple task that takes a lot of thinking. My question changed like five times. I started with vegetarianism then somehow got into the topic of losing hair. In the library I could not find one thing about those topics. After all that commotion I talked to Ms. Ingram and then she said that shampoo toxicity and the harmful ingredients may be a better topic to research. I have learned about myself that I need to push myself harder to get an assignment done. I also have to be more resourcfuk and not just look online for citations and take the easy way out. If I look into books and published articles from the library I could learn so much more than I would ever think. We had blogging in high school to cooperate with our peers and we had to comment on another students writing. This really helped me realize what was wrong and the things that were right. The blogging we are doing now is very similar and I can look at other students work to get an idea of what I am supposed to be doing and how it is supposed to be accomplished.

"Intense" is a great way to describe the research process!
